Ron Pleasant, the owner and CEO of ROUND MATE, started his plastics career in 1969 as an apprentice mold maker with Kenton Tool & Die. During his 8 years there, Ron gained valuable experience with the building of small precision molds and the injection molding of plastic parts.
During Ron's 30+ years in the plastics industry, he has served more than 10 years on the Society of Plastics Industry Mold Makers Policy Board, where he has served as a past Chairman. For years, he has also served as a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers, National Tooling & Machining Association, and the American Mold Builders Association. Ron Pleasant was even named Mold Maker of the Year in 1997.

This rectangular interchangeable insert molding system has the same benefits and features as ROUND MATE, but it was designed to allow more real estate for larger parts. Systems 2 master frames are available in 8" x 11", 10" x 15", 12" x 18", and 14" x 24" sizes. The inserts are also readily available in 11", 15", 18", and 24" sizes. This system is ideal for large production runs or prototyping. This insert system is designed to be compatible with industry-standard U-Frames. It's engineered for high-tolerance parts and contains more useable space based on a true centerline. Side Load comes standard with parting line interlocks and guided ejection. This system also goes beyond industry standards by offering integrated cover side ejection.
